Villa Terra Rossa

Accommodation at Villa Terra Rossa is laid out over three floors. Terra Rossa's fantastically finished interiors harmoniously combine a vintage Mediterranean style with time-honoured architectural traditions. A combination of smooth tile and hardwood flooring in vibrant tones give way to soft hued walls, which rise in places to exposed wood-beamed ceilings. Large French doors bring in both light and sea views to six out of the seven bedrooms, while at the same time allowing guests to live a fluid indoor-outdoor lifestyle. Diverse details, hard wood furnishings, and wall tapestries are perfectly in tune with the ambiences they inhabit and the overall sensation is of eclectic, summery sophistication.

The ground floor is entirely given over to four bedrooms. Like all the bedrooms in Terra Rossa, they are each equipped with en-suite bathrooms, a satellite TV, and air conditioning. The first two ground floor bedrooms each contain two twin beds, which can be connected or separated, and one additional sofa bed. Along with the next bedroom, which contains a king bed, these three ground floor bedrooms all have direct access to the panoramic seaview terrace. The fourth and final ground floor bedroom is likewise equipped with a king bed and ensuite bathroom, but lacks terrace access or natural light – it’s best used as an adjoining suite of the third bedroom for families staying with children.

The fifth bedroom is located on the first floor, and is a spacious room containing twin beds, which again can be connected or separated as per your request. This bedroom has an ensuite bathroom that contains both a bathtub and a shower, and also a separate living room in which you’ll find a sofa and a fireplace.

Also on the first floor but that can also be accessed via a separate entrance is a voluminous open-concept apartment. This central living area of the villa contains a spacious living and dining area, which comes complete with two lounging areas, a large solid wood dining table for 14 people, unobstructed views out to the sea, and access to the dreamy main balcony terrace via a pair of French doors. To the left of the dining table, a fully equipped kitchen with extensive wooden cabinetry. Leading up from the lounge area, a spiral staircase takes you to the second floor, where the sixth bedroom lies in wait. This large bedroom contains a king bed, and is connected to both its ensuite bathroom and the splendid seaview balcony.

Wrapping up the accommodation in Villa Terra Rossa is the seventh bedroom, an exclusive suite with a king bed, dressing room, a sumptuous ensuite bathroom containing both a shower and a bathtub, and of course – a fabulously panoramic shaded terrace looking out to sea.

Villa Terra Rossa flows out at every opportunity onto wide expanses of panoramic sea view terraces. In front of the ground floor entrance is a shaded al fresco dining area served by a large barbecue area with sink, a sun-kissed section of terrace, and a lounging area even closer to the sea. A few steps lead in several directions to the villa’s four sun terraces, which includes the main pool terrace, whose fabulous infinity edge is the perfect spot from which to admire the view.

Where the terraces end the grounds begin, flanked by mature flora and Mediterranean gardens and vineyards extending as far as the eye can see. Villa Terra Rossa is the final property at the end of its street, so you can enjoy guaranteed privacy on each of the terraces. The gorgeous pebbly President’s Beach is just a few minutes’ stroll away, whereas to the centre of Hvar Town is a breezy 20-minute walk.
