Private Full-Day Tour
Golden Horn & Northern Hvar
Explore the southern side of Brač island, with its fascinating history and famous Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn) beach, before continuing on to the often-overlooked northern side of Hvar where you can explore its dramatic cliffs, crystal-clear waters, prehistoric caves, and a quaint fishing village.

Despite being relatively small islands, Brač and Hvar have a wide array of caves, bays, and beaches on offer. This tour will take you on a journey to the absolute best spots on both. And it's not just the sea and coast that are worth exploring; the military tunnels on Brač are fascinating, and the fishing village of Vrboska on Hvar is delightful, full of vibrancy and colour, and the perfect place to enjoy a stroll after a delicious lunch at one of the traditional, family-run konobas by the sea.

Itinerary
10.00am: boarding at Jelsa Town Harbour
The adventure begins with a visit to the southern side of the island of Brač, where we will take a tour through the military tunnels carved into the rockfaces – a unique experience for those interested in the island's wartime history and military architecture.

Next, we'll visit the famous Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn) beach. This iconic beach, known for its unique shape, is one of Croatia’s most photographed locations. It's the perfect spot for our first swim and relaxing stroll along the shore.

Our final stop on Brač is Uvala Hrvatska, a beautiful bay located not far from the town of Bol. Here, take your time swimming in the clear waters, enjoy the natural surroundings, or simply relax on the boat.
We then progress back towards the northern side of Hvar, where we’ll visit the renowned Mala and Velika Stiniva coves, framed by their dramatic cliffs, where the more adventurous can try their hands at rock climbing and cliff-jumping. Mala Stiniva is also home to one of the most romantic old stone houses we've ever laid eyes on.

While on Hvar's northern coast, we couldn't skip a visit to Pokrivenik Bay. A nostalgic retreat from an indie movie, Pokrivenik consists of two sun-dappled coves, one dotted with old stone cottages, and a hidden prehistoric cave to explore.
Lunch will be served at a local seaside restaurant, where you can enjoy traditional Mediterranean cuisine.

Heading westwards back towards Jelsa, we’ll pass through Grebišće and Mina, two beautiful sandy beaches, before continuing on to the village of Vrboska.
We’ve all heard of Venice, the gorgeous Italian city that uses waterways as roads and gondolas as cars. But not so many have heard of Vrboska, the quaint former fishing village on Hvar’s northern coast, endearingly referred to as “Little Venice”. This picturesque locale is defined by its charming canal that snakes its way through the village, flanked by classic Dalmatian stone houses and elegant bridges, before reaching the harbour at the mouth of the Adriatic.
Though small, Vrboska brims with vibrant life above its calm waters, with delightful restaurants and cafe bars lining the harbour, and an intriguing fortress church that watches over the village. While drawing parallels to its Italian counterpart may be a bit of a stretch, what Vrboska lacks in gondolas and Murano glass, it makes up for in spirit.

The final stop on today's tour is the tiny island of Zečevo, which lies just one kilometre out from the Glavica Peninsula next to Vrboska. There are many natural coves and beaches on this island, which all have in common spectacular panoramic views and turquoise waters. There’s also an excellent beach bar with a large menu of cocktails and several shaded cabanas.

6.00pm: return to Jelsa Harbour.
