Overview

Your Experience begins in the ancient town of Stari Grad, exploring the island's north side. Cycling through the storied streets of Hvar's oldest capital, you will trace through centuries of history.

From the central part of town, you will follow the ancient trail of the Greek Hora, i.e. the UNESCO protected Stari Grad Plain. This cultural landscape has remained practically intact since it was first colonised by Ionian Greeks from Paros in the 4th century BC. The original agricultural activity of this fertile plain, mainly centering on grapes and olives, has been maintained since Greek times to the present. The site is also a natural reserve. The landscape features ancient stone walls and trims, or small stone shelters, and bears testimony to the ancient geometrical system of land division used by the ancient Greeks, the chora, which has remained virtually intact over 24 centuries.

Through the fragrant trails of Hvar, we set out towards one of the most beautiful harbours of the Adriatic, Vrboska. This small fishing village, located in a deep-set inlet and interconnected by numerous bridges, will surely remain one of the most beautiful memories of your Hvar vacation.

Through the aromatic dense pine forest, you will move on towards Jelsa where you’ll pause for a delightful wine tasting experience featuring top-quality wines and olive oils from one of the island's best producers. As you savour the flavours of Hvar, you’ll learn about the region’s rich viniculture and tradition.

On your return journey, you’ll make a special stop at a charming family farm. Here, you'll feast on a traditional lunch crafted from organic ingredients, paired with local wines that perfectly complement the fresh, farm-to-table fare.

After a leisurely ride back to our shop, your tour concludes with a comfortable transfer back to your villa, after a total route of around 30 km.
